Financial Advisor
Why did you choose financial planning as your profession?
People face numerous financial concerns throughout their lives, which can often feel overwhelming. Many questions arise that don’t have straightforward answers. I chose a career in financial planning because it enables me to help individuals understand their financial situations and ensure they are on the right path.
What do you think are the most important steps people can take to improve their financial well-being?
A great first step is to create a budget. Budgets offer valuable insights into how much money you have coming in and how much is going out. This clarity helps you avoid overspending, prioritize needs over wants, and identify areas where you can cut back. From there, you can set goals for yourself, such as building a 3 to 6-month emergency fund, increasing your retirement contributions, or saving for a down payment on a home.
How do you like to spend time outside of the office?
Staying fit is very important to me. After work, you’ll likely find me at the gym, either running or lifting weights. Much to my dismay, I have also been ensnared by the fickle game of golf.
