Financial Advisor

What do you think are the most important steps people can take to improve their financial well-being?

The most important step someone can take to improve their financial well-being is simply taking the next small step. That next small step can be to finally create a budget to track your income and expenses better, increase your savings contributions, or schedule an appointment with a financial advisor to make sense of how to best save for various financial goals. Many influences or negative experiences in one’s life can paralyze oneself from making any decisions at all. But as the author Paulo Coelho once wrote in his popular book The Pilgrimage, “When in doubt, just take the next small step.” So, it is true that on a journey to reach one’s financial goals, just take the next small step today.

What are some important things to consider when choosing a financial advisor?

Consider selecting an advisor who will actively learn more about you as a person so that their recommendations are personalized to you. It is also important that they provide comprehensive financial planning so they can actively observe your entire financial picture.

How do you like to spend time outside of the office?

I love spending quality time with my beautiful wife, Timesha, and my amazing young children, Carter, Joshua, Thomas, and one more expected in June 2026. I am also an active member of my local Christian church, River City Church in Swissvale, where I serve as a Deacon.

What are you a fan of?

As an Alum of UNC–Chapel Hill and a former football student-athlete, I am an avid Tar Heel fan. You will likely catch me watching TV or staring at live updates during any Carolina football, basketball, or baseball game. GO TAR HEELS. I also cheer on my high school alma mater, THE Woodland Hills Wolverines!
