Client Portal FAQs
A member of your advisor’s team will email you an invitation with all the details needed to register for the Allegheny Client Portal.
Website Registration Process PDF
After registering, you can access your Client Portal via the Client Login page on the Allegheny website at Client Resources.
To reset your password, click the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen. You will need to provide your username and email address (many users typically use their email as their username). After answering a security question, the system will send a password reset link to your email. If you still need help with resetting your password or logging in, please reach out to a member of your advisor's team for assistance.
The Vault is a secure feature within the Client Portal designed for uploading and retrieving documents. Protecting our clients' personal information is our top priority. Using the Vault to share documents is far more secure than sending files through mail or email, where hackers could potentially access sensitive information.
After logging into the Client Portal, click the Vault tab in the top right corner of the screen. You will find the document inside the Shared Documents subfolder.

New Client FAQ’s
Account Options
You have several options for managing your retirement assets:
- Leave the assets with your current employer.
- Roll the assets over to your new employer's plan.
- Transfer the assets into an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) with your financial representative.
- Cash out your assets. It's important to discuss these options with your financial advisor to ensure you understand any applicable fees and services.
Account Setup
You can rollover your assets through a direct rollover of cash or by transferring assets. For a direct rollover, you will work directly with your plan administrator, who will provide the necessary paperwork to process the distribution to your IRA. If you are opting for a transfer of assets (TOA), you will collaborate with your advisor. A TOA is a non-reportable and non-taxable transfer of cash or eligible securities from one account to another, provided both accounts have the same or compatible registration and account type.
If your advisor requires any additional information or clarification, a member of their team will contact you promptly. Please allow four to six weeks for your advisor to complete your financial plan.
Once your accounts are established, you can access them online through either of our two portals: Fidelity.com or Allegheny’s Client Portal.
