Allegheny Financial Group, a financial planning and investment management firm, is pleased to announce it has been selected as one of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for 2016. The Top Workplaces are determined solely by employee feedback through a survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace engagement. The program, conducted locally through a partnership with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, measures several aspects of workplace culture including alignment, effectiveness, connection, leadership, and more.
Allegheny co-managing partner, Jonathan A. Kuhn, CFP®, stated, “We’ve made a conscious effort and commitment to obtain feedback from our employees on various aspects of the company and strive to put that feedback into action.” Co-managing partner, Brandon J. Haynes, CFP®, added, “It’s exciting to see the changes and employee programs we’ve established are making such a positive impact on our team members. In a service business like ours, attracting and retaining quality people is critical. We truly value the contribution each employee makes toward our success."
“AFG is constantly trying to improve the workplace and find better ways to accomplish tasks,” one employee wrote in response to a survey question regarding what impresses staff most about how Allegheny does things efficiently and well. Another employee commented, “The people at this company are just good people. Pay is fair, and time off is generous.”
